Dataw Island Club is home to two 18-hole golf courses. Tom Fazio's
Cotton Dike course and Arthur Hills' Morgan River course ensure
a challenge for golfers of all abilities. Dataw Golf courses are

Cotton Dike,
Dataw's first course, was carved from the marshes by series of dikes
intended to create more land for cotton fields during the plantation
era. Nearly half of the holes lie along the pristine waters of Jenkins
Creek.
Morgan River
is narrower than Cotton Dike and challenges every golfer. Massive
live oaks as well as the Morgan River provide dramatic vistas.

Marina
Dataw Island Marina is one of the finest marinas located on the
ICW. The well-designed and well-maintained facilities are a pleasant
and quiet destination for the demanding yachtsman. The marina has
state-of-the-art concrete floating docks, constructed with concrete
pilings and includes a wave attenuator dock surrounding the basin.
Amenities include an on-site waterfront restaurant and bar, modern
air-conditioned showers and laundry, cable TV, courtesy bikes, 24-hour
security, and competent and accommodating staff. This is a first-class
facility where you will be treated royally. The marina is strategically
located 50 miles south of Charleston, SC, 14 miles from Beaufort,

Fitness Club
The Community/Fitness Center includes an Aerobic/Exercise Studio
with a specially designed floor that cushions high impact activity,
making workouts easier on the knees, ankles and other joints. A
variety of aerobics and exercise classes are offered. Treadmills,
stair climbers, free weights and a wide selection of weight machines
are featured in the Weight Room. Workout while you watch your favorite
TV program. Ease post-exercise aches and pains in the whirlpool.
The new year-round pool is covered and heated. Residents are able
to enjoy lap and recreational swimming, water aerobics, physical
therapy exercise and water sports any time.
The Community/Fitness
