Born
and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Harry came south at the
request of Uncle Sam. Harry spent four years as an officer in the
US Navy and finished his active duty in Charleston, SC. Harry is
a Viet Nam Veteran having served two six-month tours in the South
China Sea on the USS Enterprise, CVN 65.
Harry returned to Charleston to once again work for the Navy as
a civilian and after six years joined a partnership in the Restaurant
industry. Harry and his partners made the Colony House and Wine
Cellar Restaurants the best that Charleston had to offer at the
time.
Harry left the Partnership to return to the private club industry
and completed a very successful career, serving in many leadership
positions in the Club industry.
After private clubs, Harry decided to return to the business in
which his family had been engaged for over 70 years, the Real Estate
business. And the choice as to where to do that was an easy choice
for him. Having spent 15 plus years in South Carolina and having
traveled the state as President of the SC Restaurant Association,
Beaufort was the obvious place to begin his new career.
Why Beaufort, you ask? Beaufort affords people the opportunity to
enjoy the coastal life style without the bothersome traffic and
commercial disruption one experiences in either Charleston or Savannah
and without the inflated Real Estate prices experienced in other
coastal communities. Harry says, "Beaufort is still a Bargain
when it comes to Real Estate!"
Harry has bought and sold real estate throughout his life and he
knows the meaning of good customer service. He believes that great
service is the key to success. His customers know that too!
Harry believes that to be a good realtor, one must be a good listener.
"You've got to be able to get inside your client's mind to
determine exactly what he or she is looking for," Harry says.
By spending extra time questioning prospective buyers, Harry is
able to zero in on the important factors in determining which homes
should be viewed. He has an uncanny ability to match the right buyer
with the right home.
While Harry has focused mainly on being an Exclusive Buyer's Representative,
he is also very familiar with representing sellers. His marketing
strategy is actually quite simple. He believes that in a slow market
a Realtor must do more. He can be quite creative in designing a
successful strategy to market homes in any price category. He is
with you before, during and after the sale! Harry proudly claims
the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) Designation. Harry has
recently completed the requirements for the Real Estate Brokers
License and is a Broker Associate with the Company.

For the "first-time" homebuyer, Harry will help clients through the mortgage, insurance and closing phases of the transaction. Harry is truly a Full-Service Real Estate Professional.
